Role Overview:
Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer for the development of insurance web application and APIs. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy web-based applications and APIs that ensure Chubb's compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in automation and functional testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java
- Knowledgeable about testing methodologies and automation tools.
- Property & Casualty insurance domain experience secondary skill set.
- Advanced proficiency in test case design and execution.
- Strong programming skills for test automation.
- Extensive knowledge of testing tools including Playwright, Selenium, APIs, SQL
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes
- Experience in applying AI-driven approaches to enhance Quality Engineering practices by accelerating automation development, reducing manual effort, improving test coverage, and supporting smarter test design and maintenance
Mandatory Skills: Playwright, Manual/Functional testing, AI Tools, P&C background, Mainframe
Qualifications- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience in full stack development
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
