Sr Revenue Systems Engineer 

India - Chennai / Pune /  Remote

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Systems Engineer to be an integral part of the IT Revenue team and also work on Revpro and other Revenue related projects like Audit, RPA, Business Intelligence Domo and Snowflake Reporting. This person will work closely with upstream teams like Salesforce, Oracle Financials and the middleware team for the Digital Transformation project. This position will require strong technical expertise and hands-on skills on RevPro or any other revenue systems along with strong Revenue Accounting (ASC 605/ 606) experience. Strong Oracle PL/ SQL or Python or other program language expertise is mandatory. 

The resource is responsible for Revenue system upgrades, bug fixes, close activities, and support issues. This person will also work on new product integrations, business area integrations, and other technical projects like AI Automation,  BI, RPA, Domo, Snowflake etc.

This person will participate in the Trimble Digital Transformation Project and will get an opportunity to participate in the end-to-process life cycle of a product starting from Quote to Revenue. So significant knowledge of ERP financial systems (Q2C) is required.  

Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills will be required. The resource must have good project management skills to lead and manage the offshore team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead Revenue Systems-related Projects and support activities.

• Manage Revenue system processes

• Maintain monthly system pre-close and close process activities

• Support Disclosure reports and SSP Analysis process in Revpro

• Understand, support, and tie-out Revenue reports

• Manage System Upgrades

• Use case testing and Regression testing for ongoing patches and upgrades.

• Design, document BRD, and test enhancements and customizations

• Support UAT

• Work on  Revenue AI and RPA projects

• Work on Revenue real time reporting and business intelligence projects.

Education:

• Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, and Computer Science. 

• A Chartered Accountant degree will be a huge plus.

Qualification:

• 5+ years of demonstrated systems experience with Python, Oracle Pl/SQL, Oracle ERP or any other programming language.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience on Revpro or any other Revenue Systems.

• 2+ years of Project Management experience or Technical Lead experience

• Salesforce & CPQ knowledge.

• Excellent Communication skills and documentation skills are a must-have.

• High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills are required.
