What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Sales Commission Analyst to work with and report to the Senior Manager, Sales Commission. This position will be part of the Sales Commission team, calculating monthly commissions accurately and timely, managing our Sales Compensation tool Xactly Incent, and serving as the go-to commissions business partner for various sales leaders and their organizations. The Commission Team is a remote organization so that this role can be anywhere in India.
What will you do?:
- Serve as the dedicated commissions partner for select sales leaders and sales employees, providing world-class customer service as the "go-to" resource for all commission-related questions and deliverables
- Calculate and process monthly commission payments,both with an Excel-based commissions model as well as with the Sales Compensation System (Xactly Incent)
- Prepare monthly commission reports, accruals, and payroll workbooks
- Track, research, and resolve commission calculation-related inquiries and exceptions including disputes and appeals
- Partner with the Sales organization to address inquiries regarding territory alignment, bookings allocation, and commission calculations
- Collaborate with the People team, Sales Operations, and Payroll teams to process new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers within Xactly Incent in line with plan policies and procedures and required audit guidelines
- Assist with monthly and quarterly analyses to measure performance, including variance to budget, the correlation between result and payouts, and detail by individual contributor and by manager
- Distribute, track, and report on the status of Commission Plan acceptance to ensure compliance and timeliness
- Perform audits to ensure data integrity between Xactly Incent and the commission plan documents
- Seek out and identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes, partnering and collaborating cross departmentally
- Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines
What skills and experience will you bring?
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience and a Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields
- Strong Excel modeling skills, including the ability to understand and trace complex formulas, and comfort with advanced formulas, array formulas and pivot tables. Some familiarity with macros is useful.
- Experience with systems such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Xactly, Callidus, and/or Varicent preferred; Understanding of Salesforce.com or other CRM applications and data modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong, meaningful relationships across all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated ability managing and leading cross functional projects on time to completion.
- Comfortability with ambiguous problems, curiosity and willingness to ask questions, and ability to deliver results in a high pressure fast moving environment.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, extremely detailed oriented, well organized and above average analytical skills
