Role Overview
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with our Solution Architect to implement high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements in a user-friendly way. While you will not be responsible for designing solutions, you will play a crucial role in identifying the most efficient and effective ways to implement them. You will handle the more complex development tasks and provide technical expertise across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect to refine technical specifications and determine optimal implementation strategies.
- Develop, test, and deploy complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flows.
- Ensure code quality, reusability, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Manage and develop integrations between Salesforce and other systems as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing custom code and configuration.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other developers.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and recommend relevant enhancements.
- Maintain clear documentation for developed components and solutions.
- Work in JIRA to manage delivery of user stories.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, utilising Apex, LWC, Process Builder, Flows and Approval Processes.
- Exposure to Salesforce deployment tools such as change sets.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Understanding of Salesforce back-end infrastructure such as custom settings and custom labels.
- Experience with of Salesforce security such as Roles, Profiles and Sharing Settings.
- Experience with the implementation of integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, etc.).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II highly desirable).
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow clear instructions and work within defined solution designs.
- Effective remote communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with developing recruitment or HR systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA.
