Leads Salesforce initiatives, transformation projects, platform optimization, roadmap development, governance, and delivery. Manages Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Oversees architecture, configuration, integrations, security, releases, UAT, deployments, performance, data quality, and automation. Partners with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, manages delivery risks and dependencies, and reports progress to senior leadership in a remote environment.
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Manager to join the team on a 3-month remote contract.
The role will be responsible for overseeing Salesforce initiatives, managing technical and functional teams, driving platform optimization, and ensuring Salesforce solutions are aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Salesforce environments and teams, with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, delivery, integrations, governance, and stakeholder management. The candidate should be comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee Salesforce projects, enhancements, and transformation initiatives from planning through delivery.
- Manage and coordinate Salesforce developers, administrators, consultants, architects, and external partners.
- Define and maintain the Salesforce roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Oversee Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, integrations, and platform performance.
- Establish and maintain Salesforce governance, development standards, security practices, and best practices.
- Review technical solutions and ensure alignment with Salesforce platform capabilities and enterprise architecture.
- Manage delivery timelines, priorities, dependencies, risks, and resources.
- Ensure successful implementation of Salesforce releases and enhancements.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other technology teams.
- Support UAT, release management, and production deployment activities.
- Monitor platform performance, adoption, data quality, and overall Salesforce health.
- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement.
- Manage relationships with Salesforce implementation partners and third-party vendors where applicable.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce.
- 3+ years in a senior/lead/managerial Salesforce position.
- Strong experience managing Salesforce teams and/or Salesforce delivery functions.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations, transformation projects, or major platform enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, integrations, and data models.
- Experience with Salesforce development concepts including Apex, Lightning, APIs, and integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and governance.
- Experience managing Agile delivery teams and working with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent.
- Salesforce Administrator / Platform Developer / Sales Cloud / Service Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, MuleSoft, APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD and Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Experience managing large-scale Salesforce transformation programs.
- Experience working with offshore/remote Salesforce teams.
