Who we are and What we do?
AppViewX helps the world’s largest enterprises reduce risk, prevent outages, and strengthen security through machine identity management, certificate lifecycle management (CLM), and PKI automation. Our AVX One platform provides centralized visibility, automation, and control across certificate and machine identity workflows to protect enterprise infrastructure and ensure compliance at scale.
AppViewX serves mid-size enterprises to Fortune 500 organizations across financial services, healthcare, and technology. Headquartered in New York with global teams across North America, India, the UK, and Australia, we operate as a highly collaborative and distributed organization.
What do we require?
- You write automation in Python with confidence and use it to build clean, reliable, and scalable test coverage.
- You’ve worked hands-on with Python + Playwright + Pytest or Selenium + Robot Framework in real product environments.
- You know REST API automation well and can validate end-to-end workflows across features, services, and modules.
- You take real ownership of automation for the areas you support and keep quality signals strong across sprint and regression cycles.
- You can design, build, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- You think beyond happy paths and create coverage that catches edge cases and defects early.
- You make sure automation is release-ready and reliable enough to build confidence before every ship cycle.
- You understand how automated tests fit into CI/CD and how quality gates help keep releases honest.
- You’re comfortable handling test data, managing QA environments, and debugging issues that impact build quality.
- You keep improving coverage, framework usability, execution reliability, and overall test effectiveness over time.
- You look at failures and quality trends closely and use that signal to improve release predictability.
- You can estimate automation effort well and align your work with sprint goals and release timelines.
- You care about framework quality, reduce flaky tests, and look for ways to make execution faster and more stable.
- You guide strong test design, disciplined execution, and healthy regression practices across the team.
- You work closely with Engineering and Product to make better quality calls and support release readiness.
- You help raise the bar for the team by mentoring SDETs through reviews, feedback, and automation best practices.
What do we desire?
- You care about quality like an owner, not just a contributor.
- You spot cracks early, push for better, and don’t wait for someone else to raise the bar.
- You bring a builder mindset - pragmatic, curious, and always looking for smarter ways to test, automate, and improve.
- You like making systems more stable, releases more predictable, and teams more effective.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a sharp eye for gaps, edge cases, and failure patterns.
- High standards and low tolerance for “good enough” when it comes to product quality, automation reliability, and engineering discipline.
- Clear communicator who can work well across QA, Engineering, and Product without creating noise.
- Fast learner who can ramp quickly, figure things out independently, and keep momentum in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and follow-through; you don’t just identify issues, you help drive them to closure.
- Ability to improve regression health and build confidence in release quality over time.
- Genuine interest in mentoring others, sharing context, and helping raise the overall quality bar for the team.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes or containerized environments is a plus.
- Exposure to MongoDB or similar data stores is good to have.
- Advanced Robot Framework experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with contract testing or component testing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts is good to have.
- Exposure to performance, reliability, or stress testing adds value.
What makes us stand out from the rest is the people. The people who push hard every day to be more smart, passionate, resilient, creative, inclusive and curious. Surrounding ourselves with a bunch of diverse and talented minds has made us what we are, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact it would have on you too!
