We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions, applications, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This position requires a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities, including advanced scripting, module customization, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules such as CMDB, CSDM, CSM, GRC & SecOps, HRSD, ITOM, ITSM, SPM, and custom-scoped applications.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs using JavaScript and other web technologies.
  • Implement integrations with external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver enhancements and new functionality.
  • Manage Agile development tasks including story creation, update sets, technical testing, CAB documentation, change requests, and deployments.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and administrators.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to platform best practices.
  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting of ServiceNow issues, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and story grooming.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, including experience with core modules: CMDB, CSDM, ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, GRC & SecOps.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience with scripting in ServiceNow including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, etc.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deploy Forms, Modules, Workflows, Scoped Applications, and custom solutions.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and services, following ServiceNow best practices.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Certifications & Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
  • ServiceNow Advanced Administrator Certification – Preferred
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices – Preferred
