The result? Connected models that are always in sync. This makes the complex planning process fast, smart and accurate.The Evaluator team is the heart of the Planning application. We are constantly innovating ways to evaluate these complex n-dimensional models at speed and scale to match the growing complexity of financial planning
About the Role
We are looking for a fast and eager learner to join our engineering team and continue revolutionizing the heart of our application. The ideal candidate will be a backend developer with some experience working on enterprise web applications.
About You
Basic Qualification
8+ years experience in software development engineering, architecting, building, and scaling robust and efficient software systems.
6+ years experience in Java programming languages and related tools such as Java Profiler, Java Flight Recorder, JDK Mission Control, Thread and Heap Dump analyzer
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Other Qualification
Strong ability in Algorithmic Thinking and iterative problem solving skills, to design and optimize solutions for complex compute and memory intensive workloads.
Strong skills in creating Technical Writing Documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with operations and Scalability study of large scale distributed systems.
Experience with micro services architecture or Distributed Programming, Memory, concurrency of software solutions
Solid experience with REST API Development
Strong understanding of Code Testing methodologies, such as Unit, Integration, and Performance Testing, and experience with Selenium and TestRail.
Experience in Observability stack such as ELK, Grafana.
Experience in Cloud Deployment and cloud technologies
Proven ability to lead Team Collaboration within a software development team and mentor junior engineers.
Familiarity with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
Familiarity with agentic design patterns and when to use agents vs. code
Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
