  • Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • You could be relied upon to deliver autonomously - you take responsibility and end-to-end ownership of your projects: drive and own them to make sure we deliver on our goals, without compromising on quality

  • Experience working with BFFs and microservices, distributed and concurrent systems, and designing interactions between them via RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging, with scalability, maintainability, concurrency, and fault tolerance in mind.

  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and designing schemas

  • Some experience working with modern frontend frameworks like React (and TypeScript) - you can read, understand and review frontend code, and understand what a good UX / UI looks like

  • You’re passionate about helping others, keen to roll up your sleeves, and take ownership to drive impact across teams

  • You mentor and coach others around you, fostering their professional development and raising the bar overall
