Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, DevOps to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent management and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve system performance.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps initiatives with business goals.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement best practices for DevOps processes and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Preferred Skills:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and other automation tools.
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure and Bottomline solutions in cloud environments and on-premise setups.
- Experience working with support tools like PagerDuty and JIRA to manage and resolve incidents effectively.
- Strong expertise in API management platforms, RESTful APIs, and integration gateways.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Utilize GIT for version control and manage code repositories.
- Work within Agile frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure security and compliance across all systems and platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps principles to secure systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in PostgreSQL, GIT, DevOps Automation, Agile Methodology, Gitlab Pipelines, Terraform, Monitoring Tools, Maven, Linux, and containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a DevOps management role.
