Build, support, and test large-scale AWS cloud-native applications using Java and Apache NiFi to integrate data across AWS services. Own secure SDLC and CI/CD practices, implement microservices/serverless/event-driven architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
The Expertise You Have
- Expertise in developing and supporting real-time NiFi integration tools to pull data from various AWS services and integration to storage systems.
- Experience with Java, JSF, JS and Python Scripting
- Experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform (S3, Lambda,SQS)
- Good Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Apache Nifi, Sonar and Linux
- Expertise in building and testing large-scale AWS cloud-native digital enterprise applications on micro-services, serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Ownership of the entire secure SDLC, and extensive experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, TDD, BDD to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate features to customers while minimizing risk using practices blue-green deployments and feature toggles.
The Skills You Bring
- A proven foundation in software engineering – bachelor’s degree + preferred, 6+ years’ experience.
- Hands on experience working with Java, JSF, JS and Python Scripting.
- Proficiency in Java with strong experience in design, development and testing of web based systems
- Strong Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle) including writing SQL scripts.
- Good understanding on memory management in jvm
- Must have Experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform (S3, Lambda,SQS)
- Good Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Apache Nifi, Sonar and Linux
- Experience with agile engineering practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, automated testing and deployment
- Good to have knowledge in Spring framework
- Well-versed and active user of GitHub
- Strong experience on service oriented architecture using Rest/SOAP. Knowledge on micro services architecture has added advantage
- Good knowledge of Java SWT/Swing GUI
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to facilitate collaboration across technology and business partners without having a direct authority over people.
