Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ Years of experience in Java, Spring boot, Kafka, Scripting, SQL Server, MongoDB
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices design principles, with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering iterative and incremental value to stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to quality, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement in software development practices and processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and guide feature implementation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Champion best practices in coding standards, optimization techniques, and architectural patterns, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in microservices, and related domains, driving continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Added Advantage - Customize and extend Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM) capabilities, leveraging JBPM, to address specific business requirements and optimize workflow processes effectively.
- Good to Have: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, leveraging JBPM and microservices technologies to drive business transformation and operational excellence.
