Senior Software Engineer - R&D Product Owner (Embedded Software)

Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

What you will do:

• Uphold SCRUM principles; prioritizes backlog and generates return on investment for product development.

• Gathers and establishes business requirements from customer-specific engagements, market research, and competitive analysis and stake holders.

• Defines and documents customer business functions and processes in the form of Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS) collected from User Stories, Reports, Prototypes and Workflow Diagrams.

• Owns and develops detailed requirements from user stories (scrum team) for product enhancements or as defined by the requirement/use case.

• Establishes user story acceptance criteria and accept stories into the product baseline.

• Acts as a liaison between marketing, customer/end-users, technical teams and other stakeholders within the organization to translate high level requests into detailed design.

• Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

• Produces technical and product overview documentation to be used during release overviews or training purposes

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s OR Bachelor’s degree (Computers, Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical) OR equivalent in related field

• 5 to 7 years of demonstrated SCRUM and Product owner experience in Embedded software environment or equivalent medical space with technical expertise on complex software applications and projects

• Technical specialization – Networking and Software Engineering with knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices

• Excellent written & oral communication skills, stakeholder management and people influencing skills

• Proficient with Prototyping, writing Business Requirements, Functional Specifications and User Stories

• Flexible to overlap couple of hours with US time zone

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Medical domain standards & FDA requirements and product development process

• Scrum Master (CSM) and Product Owner (CSPO) certification

Travel Percentage: 10%
