Join our Investment Operations Product Areas (Data and Post-trade Engineering Line) and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our financial systems.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
As a Senior Tester, you will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting of software engineers, who collaborate closely with business experts. The team is responsible for developing and supporting a set of enterprise products within the Corporate Actions Product Area. You are expected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, and Germany. After a comprehensive onboarding program, we expect you to:
- Designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across functional and non-functional areas to validate new features and system enhancements.
- Developing and executing manual and automated tests (E2E, API, UT) based on business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Creating detailed test cases and ensuring they cover the full acceptance criteria, collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and technical leads.
- Conducting business domain analysis related to Loans, ETD, Portfolio Swaps, and other derivatives, understanding key business processes, and integrating this knowledge into test scenarios.
- Supporting the product throughout the testing lifecycle, from test planning through defect management and post-deployment validation.
- Collaborating with teams to refine features and enhance testing coverage based on evolving requirements and market conditions.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on the functionality and quality of the system, participating in regular Sprint review and DEMO sessions.
- Proactively identifying testing improvements, suggesting new tools, processes, or frameworks that can improve test efficiency and quality.
- Supporting legacy systems and maintaining test environments to ensure continuity in critical financial operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- A deep understanding of financial products, particularly Loans, ETD, Portfolio Swaps, and other derivatives (options, futures, swaps, etc.), gained through hands-on experience in testing or related business roles.
- A strong background in manual and automated testing, with significant experience in developing comprehensive test plans, creating test cases, and conducting E2E, API, and Unit testing for complex financial applications.
- A solid understanding of business processes within the investment and derivatives sectors, including the life cycle of trades, pricing, settlement, and post-trade operations.
- Experience in Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure testing, ensuring performance, scalability, and security for financial applications.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, including experience with CI/CD processes (git, TeamCity) and version control.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to in-house tools and frameworks, and to learn new business concepts, technologies, and testing methodologies.
- Strong communication skills in English (upper-intermediate and higher), both written and spoken, as English is the corporate language.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams, with an understanding of the iterative development process and a strong team-oriented approach.
