As a Senior Software Engineer in Data Collection & Engineering Services, you'll hold a valued role within a rapidly growing team inside one of the world's most successful organizations, working closely with experienced and passionate engineers to solve problems customer problem. We enable the platform that helps teams across multiple programs to build, test, deploy and host hundreds of data pipelines across several global data-centers along with enterprise logging, monitoring and vulnerability detection.
All About You
- At least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Technology related field or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience in Data Warehouse related projects in product or service-based organization
- 6+ years as a Software Engineer
- Experience solving for Scalability, Performance and Stability
- Experience in a programming language in Java/Spring boot/Spring Batch/Microservices
- Experience in AWS services
- Experience working in SQL and relational databases
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems and environment and Scripting
- Experience in implementing CI/CD build pipelines with tools like Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and Chef
- Good to have operational Experience in Big Data Stacks ( Hadoop ecosystem, Spark is a plus)
- Good to have operational Experience in real-time ,streaming and data pipelines relevant frameworks ( Kafka and NiFi is a plus)
- A deep expertise in your field of Software Engineering
- Expert at troubleshooting complex system and application stacks
- Operational experience troubleshooting network/server communication is a plus
- Motivation, creativity, self-direction, and desire to thrive on small project teams
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
