At Flexera, we’re on a mission to empower global enterprises by transforming IT insights into decisive actions. We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engin to join our platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go programming, extensive experience in building integration solutions, and a proven track record of deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Azure cloud services.

What you'll do:

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap for our core integration technology with a focus on Azure cloud services.
  • Collaborate closely with peer engineering teams to integrate their services with the rest of our platform, ensuring seamless interaction across systems.
  • Help the engineering manager hire, train, and mentor engineers, maintaining a high-performing engineering culture.
  • Work with architecture and engineering teams to review project requirements, technical artefacts, and designs, ensuring the platform meets the needs of users and leverages the best of Azure’s capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable software components using Go.
  • Design and implement data transformation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange between different systems, leveraging Azure services.
  • Optimize data workflows for speed, reliability, and data integrity, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Architect, deploy, and manage containerized services leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Implement best practices for Azure DevOps, code quality, security, and scalability.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of integration services in Azure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, data transformation, and deployment issues in an Azure environment.

You’ll be expected to have:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development, including extensive experience with the Go programming language.
  • Strong expertise in container technologies, with a focus on Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and integrating them in a cloud-native environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
