The Role: C# .NET developer will participate in the development process from definition to deployment. Develop cutting-edge technologies to improve Xylem's software offering. Create and maintain UI and back-end oriented services utilized by the rest of our architecture. Engineer code that is efficient, standard and well documented. Take on challenging tasks as needed with an eagerness to develop skills in new areas. Bring to the job an excitement and work ethic on par for a startup technology firm.

  • Design and architect components
  • Windows application development (C#/.NET) in a team environment
  • Develop applications in a large-scale, high-performance environment
  • Ensure the quality of releases, including participating in peer code reviews.
  • Integrate internal software with third-party applications.
  • Support existing software in the organization.

Minimum professional and educational background desired

  • BS in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication or related fields or master's in science in Software or MCA.
  • 5+ years of experience in C# application development (WPF) and/or User Interface design (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/MS Blazor).
  • Experience using Microsoft Blazor is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Experience using Entity Framework, or similar object relational mapping tools.
  • Experience using SQL Server, or similar relational database management systems.
  • Experience and understanding of design patterns including MVVM.
  • Experience and understanding of unit testing.
  • Experience developing desktop applications
  • CI/CD (GIT/ Jira/ Bitbucket/ Jenkins)
  • Good to have .NET MAUI
  • Good to have ASP.NET MVC/Web API knowledge
