Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Architecture: Design and maintain robust RESTful microservices using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and AWS Chalice.
- Cloud-Native Development: Architect and support serverless applications on AWS, utilizing Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, and IAM to build secure, production-ready systems.
- Automation & Scraping: Develop advanced web and screen scraping solutions using tools like Selenium and pywinauto to automate complex workflows.
- Engineering Excellence: Champion best practices including unit testing, CI/CD pipeline management, Git version control, and rigorous code reviews.
- End-to-End Ownership: Manage the entire application lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- AI-Augmented Development: Responsibly utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity while strictly adhering to code quality, security, and maintainability standards.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask and AWS Chalice.
- Deep experience in designing and maintaining RESTful microservices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders, prioritize work, and build high-performing teams.
