Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience building front-end applications using React.
- Practical experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, schema, partitions, streams).
- Hands-on exposure to OCP/OpenShift including containerization, deployments, and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of GenAI/LLM models, including integration with APIs and AI-driven components.
- Solid understanding of data storage systems: SQL, NoSQL, caching, distributed storage.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build intuitive and responsive front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Implement and optimize event-driven architectures using Kafka, ensuring high throughput and reliability.
- Develop GenAI-powered features, integrating LLM-based components for automation, insights, and productivity enhancements.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) following cloud-native principles.
- Work with data storage technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, distributed storage) ensuring performance, integrity, and scalability.
- Contribute to end-to-end SDLC, including design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security, risk, and compliance standards.
- Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
