This position belongs to the Parts Pricing Product Line within FCSD Tech. Parts Pricing teams support Ford's Global Revenue Management ecosystem globally with products like Parts Income & Financial Analysis (PIFA aka IBIS), Parts Data Warehouse [PDW], Global Parts Pricing Tool [GPPT-PriceFx] and Global Pricing Hub [GPH]. The tech teams are based in FBS, India and collaborate with GRM – Global Revenue Management organization globally to ensure we have the right features and capabilities in place to help Ford achieve its financial objectives from its after-market parts business.
The parts pricing tech teams work in the agile PDO model with an open culture which values 'knowledge over hierarchy', 'asking questions' & 'challenging status quo'. The Software Engineer role will work in close collaboration with Product Team/Global FCSD GTM/Business/Finance leads to ensure the smooth running of the operations and to shovel the rocks out of the way so the teams can deliver to the required product roadmap.
Candidate should be open to working in rotational shifts and required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week.
Responsibilities* Design, develop, test and maintain scalable software applications and systems.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Creating Dashboards for Analytics
* Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
* Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support automated testing efforts.
* Manage version control using tools such as Git.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
* Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
* Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
* Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
* Creating Integration Manager instances, Setting up SFTP Servers, SFTP accounts , Workflow, Schedulers and Data uploads via platform manager.
* Designing Price List, Price Optimization, Accelerator etc.,
QualificationsTechnical Stack:- Java, Groovy, Apache Camel, IntelliJ and SQL.
Experience:- 4 to 5 years
Qualification :-
• Minimum 5yrs of experience in Java (especially Groovy).
• Deliver enhancements and development projects as part of business needs
• Hands-on technical experience delivering Pricefx configurations/integrations using (Java, Groovy, IntelliJ , JSON, Camel)
• Proficiency in SQL and Git.
• Experience in test plan creation, test cases execution and deployment of codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of working in Agile environments.
• Experience in Batch processing and batch stream management.
