As a Senior Software Engineer, design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions on the infrastructure. Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, implement features, and conduct unit testing. Stay informed on emerging technologies to enhance innovation and efficiency. Ensure software solutions align with organizational goals, technical requirements, and maintain high reliability and scalability.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Architecting and developing software from design through testing and deployment, including new functionality, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Following good development methodology, including collaboration with testing and SQA departments to successfully deploy changes in an agile environment
- Measuring, maintaining and optimizing distributed system performance and reliability
- Working in diverse nature of programming languages as needed
- Mentoring Junior Software Engineer on technology aspects
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 4+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have solid experience in languages such as Python, Rust, Java, Perl, C++, or Bash in Linux/Unix environments
- Have a track record of delivering reliable and secure software
- Demonstrate noticeable experience with container platforms, such as Docker and Azure
- Have good experience with SQL relational and NOSQL databases such as Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
