Position Details
Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore
Role Overview:
Looking for a skilled "Quality Engineer" with proven expertise in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in functional, API (REST & SOAP),UI and integration testing, along with hands-on experience in automation testing (with Playwright). Strong communication skills, familiarity with Jira, and a background in Agile methodologies are required. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at leveraging Generative AI capabilities to design test cases, automate test scripts, and document test flows.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, API (REST & SOAP), and integration testing.
- Utilize Gen AI tools to efficiently generate and optimize test cases, automation scripts, and flow documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright frameworks.
- Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Clearly communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
- Demonstrate experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Show familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Apply analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
