About the team
Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.
You’ll be joining an established team of architects who support the design and implementation of major business products onto the NAP platform.
What you’ll own (5-6 role responsibilities)
To provide solution design leadership to the engineering teams and be accountable for the technology design of one or more of the major business product segments or technology domains.
To be the trusted source of solution architecture technology expertise and pro-actively provide technology leadership and direction to project teams and 3rd party partners in the definition of appropriate project solutions to ensure convergence with the global strategic architecture and policy.
To implement and operate the technology governance framework in order to assess all projects and initiatives for ‘fit’ against the Worldpay technology strategy, architecture and policies, working to resolve non-conformance with the project.
To maintain technology expertise through research of innovative technologies, investigation of new supplier offerings and their product roadmaps.
To liaise and interface with business, business architects, Enterprise architects, infrastructure designers and business analysts to ensure that the Worldpay technology strategy and architecture supports future business strategy and requirements across all Worldpay business divisions.
What you bring
Architecture – Experience of micro service and domain driven design architectures.
Technical experience – passionate about technology and applying modern approaches to solving business problems, with extensive development experience, preferably in Java.
