We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Production support Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Chennai.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 5-8 years of experience in Level 2 Production support required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Skillset to quickly understand the workflow and triage on the enquiries.
- Provide Level 2 Support for application processing and batch loads.
- Strong knowledge of AppDynamics, Splunk and other monitoring tools for pro active monitoring and anomaly detection.
- Ability to quickly frame the SQL for data research and analysis.
- Good understanding on Java code for checking the code flow to verify the logics.
- Must have good communication skills to handle the Production incidents and interacting with Business users.
- Experience with large financial applications integrated in a distributed setup with various modern technologies.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, with advanced degree preferred
- Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle), SQL.
- 5-8 years of experience as Oracle SQL, PL SQL knowledge with application support.
- Should be comfortable with the following technology stack, monitoring tools and processes
- Java or Python will be a plus for triaging the issues.
