P Global Infrastructure
Responsibilities include:
● Building, configuring, maintaining, and supporting system infrastructure focused on
linux specifically Red Hat systems.
● Proficient command line interface and basic shell scripting; Bash or Python a plus.
● Configuring storage on the system and adding NAS, CIFS, or ASM disks
● Understand Ansible or puppet a plus.
● Familiar with Networking concepts and protocols.
● Detailed oriented, good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
● Basic understanding of Virtualization in Vmware and/or Nutanix hyperconverged
environments specifically how linux interacts with it.
● Full lifecycle management for all equipment in Iron Mountain Data Centers and
Field offices
● Participation on Project Teams:
I. Ability to work in an independent manner but also work together in a
team oriented environment.
II. Guides and mentors fellow administrators, engineers, and project team
members on related topics
III. Project execution, including partnering with PM, Risk Management, QA
Testing, and production roll-outs

● A plus to have worked on public cloud platforms, such as GCP, Azure, and AWS
● Develops and maintains capacity management reports and trend analysis

Business Expertise: The senior System Engineer is expected to understand how EIT can support Iron

Mountain’sBusiness model and objectives. organization's business lines and products, underlying
infrastructure services and platforms both on premises and cloud based, and optimize these
platforms to maximize efficiency and business value.

Develops innovative and practical solutions to project challenges, identifies and works proactively with all levels of the
organization to mitigate risks and issues. Collaborates with Support teams, Subject Matter
Experts and Project Managers to develop and implement realistic short term and long term
solutions.

enables and encourages collaboration across teams and functional areas. The ability to influence
others at all levels is key, as well as team leadership and meeting facilitation skills.
