Description

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Systems Architect to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

In this position we are looking for a person who:


  • Utilizes in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in System Architecture and basic knowledge of related job disciplines to design and develop complex physical architecture to support a specific system/platform.
  • Independently solves complex problems to initiate and perform more difficult technical planning, architecture development and physical specification modifications.
  • Executes POCs and pilots on platform to highlight quick business outcomes.
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance to execute more complex pilots and assess broad system performance, scalability, and health.
  • Responsible for definition and alignment on system standards and principles.
  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going system architecture activities or objectives.
  • Reviews detail design and code to ensure alignment to high level design and architecture.
  • Must have hands-on software development background in Java/J2EE and front end technologies like Angular, Java Script, CSS, HTML etc.
  • The ideal candidate should have total 9 years experience (5 yrs as architect in addition to 4 years in development)

Requirements

Work Experience in This Field

  • Minimum Required: 9 years - 5 years relevant experience delivering technical solution architecture required in addition to 4 years prior experience as developer.  

English Proficiency

  • Minimum Required: Fluent

Required Education

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor

Other Critical Skills

  • Good communication & Presentation Skills - Advanced
  • Domain knowledge in US based P & C insurance market. - Advanced

Software / Tool Skills

  • Hands-on software development background in Java/J2EE and front end technologies like Angular, Java Script, CSS, HTML etc. - Advanced
