Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology (IT) Support team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, detecting, and fixing technical issues for MFT systems and ensuring the restoration of these critical IT systems to stable operations.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Offer MFT IT technical support services to operations across global sites.
Co-ordinate with internal and external partners during the partner on-boarding process.
Develop, maintain, and research innovative approaches for system administration tasks, including installation and configuration procedures.
Work efficiently as an individual contributor, executing transactions as per prescribed guidelines and timelines to meet SLA and quality standards.
Engage with Operations staff and customers to resolve MFT systems technical issues, often requiring coordination with multiple IT functional departments in a large enterprise environment.
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for permanent solutions to ensure operational stability.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
6-8+ years of relevant experience in MFT Application Support and Secure File Transfer Protocols.
Strong knowledge of various file transfer protocols, including SSH/SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2.
A very good understanding of Managed File Transfer Tools and experience working with IT systems problem management tools (e.g., HP Service Manager, ServiceNow, Jira).
Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating systems.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, Active Directory, SQL, and Cloud technologies.
A Bachelor's degree.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills, and a proven ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task work effectively on multiple tracks.
