Lead the design and enhancement of enterprise network infrastructure focusing on core architecture and security. Ensure compliance and collaborate with teams for optimized performance.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect – Network Platform to lead the design, scaling, improvement, and enhancement of enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses primarily on core networking architecture, with a secondary emphasis on network security, aligned to a 70% Network / 30% Security responsibility split. The position is part of the Infrastructure Architecture function and supports large-scale, business-critical platforms.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and enhancement of enterprise network platforms.
- Drive network scalability, performance optimization, and resilience initiatives.
- Create and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Provide architectural guidance for LAN, WAN, DC, and cloud-connected networks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to ensure secure and stable network design.
- Review existing network architectures and recommend improvements and modernization strategies.
- Support implementation teams with design validation and technical direction.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making forums.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on and design experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, DC, and enterprise routing & switching.
- Working knowledge of network security concepts including:
- Firewalls
- VPN
- ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)
- STN (Secure Trust Network)
- Proven experience in network architecture documentation (HLD, LLD).
- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical environments.
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with security teams on secure network design.
- Understanding of perimeter and internal security controls.
- Experience integrating security considerations into network architecture (not a pure security role).
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
- Exposure to regulatory-driven or high-availability infrastructure platforms.
- Architecture or networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are an advantage.
