- Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists in WiFi Mesh testing.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for WiFi/WFA products, ensuring coverage of all relevant features and functionalities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of WiFi Mesh systems, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide valuable feedback and suggestions for product improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest WiFi technologies, standards, and industry trends, ensuring our testing practices remain current.
- Document and report test results, providing clear and concise feedback to stakeholders.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure consistent and high-quality testing practices.
- Participate in project planning and provide estimates for testing efforts, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer support.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in WiFi/WFA related product testing, with a strong understanding of WiFi Alliance System testing guidelines.
- Deep knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, etc.) and related network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Hands-on experience with Testing/Traffic Simulation Tools, such as Spirent, for WiFi Mesh testing.
- Exposure to Test Automation and experience with automation development in Python and Shell, as well as automation frameworks like Robot and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of Testing Concepts & Methodologies, Test Strategy, and Test Plan development.
- Analytical skills and a proven track record of problem-solving in complex technical environments.
- Good understanding of RF Antenna specifications and their impact on WiFi Mesh systems.
- Working knowledge of GPON technologies is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
