Design and maintain backend services and APIs, integrate observability solutions, enforce software quality standards, and develop CI/CD pipelines while leveraging AI tools.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring and Python, with strong focus on reliability, performance, and seamless integration across distributed application components and enterprise platforms.
- Build modern engineering solutions across the full software lifecycle, including frontend development where needed, automated testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and translating business and technical requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
- Design, build, and maintain observability integrations and custom monitoring solutions across enterprise platforms such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, Prometheus/Grafana, Moogsoft, and Splunk, including instrumentation with Open Telemetry and development of telemetry pipelines, health checks, synthetic monitoring, and self-healing automation to strengthen operational visibility and service resilience.
- Develop and support observability and infrastructure integration capabilities, including integrations with enterprise monitoring, telemetry, and ITSM platforms, as well as custom health checks, automation, and telemetry solutions to improve operational insight and resilience.
- Drive strong software quality, security, and engineering standards through test-driven approaches, comprehensive automated test coverage, secure software development practices, peer review, vulnerability scanning, and adherence to coding and architectural standards.
- Build and maintain containerized delivery and deployment pipelines using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD platforms, enabling automated, secure, and efficient promotion of code through development and production environments.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools and emerging AI capabilities to accelerate development, improve productivity, and enhance solutions, while collaborating effectively with product owners, architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
