The Role
We are looking for an SEO & AEO Specialist with 3–6 years of experience to strengthen
Gevme’s organic search visibility, content performance, and answer-engine presence.
In this role, you will create, optimise, and publish high-quality content that helps Gevme
rank better on search engines, appear in answer based results, improve visibility across
AI-powered search experiences, and attract the right B2B SaaS and event technology
audiences.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong writing skills, SEO thinking, analytical
ability, and independent research.
What You’ll Do
- Own content writing, optimisation, and publishing across Gevme’s digital channels,
including blogs, website pages, landing pages, emails, ads, and social media.
- Create original, research-driven, and high-value content that supports Gevme’s
brand voice, business goals, and customer needs.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor content analysis
to identify ranking and visibility opportunities.
- Optimise content for SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal
links, image alt text, readability, and content structure.
- Optimise content for AEO by creating clear answers, FAQs, structured content
sections, featured snippet-friendly formats, and conversational search-ready
content.
- Improve Gevme’s visibility across Google search, AI search platforms, featured
snippets, People Also Ask results, and answer-based discovery channels.
- Build and manage content calendars to ensure consistent publishing across
platforms.
- Proofread, edit, and improve content before publishing to ensure clarity, accuracy,
quality, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and development teams to deliver
content and SEO initiatives on time.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, and
content performance.
- Prepare regular SEO, AEO, and content performance reports with insights,
recommendations, and action plans.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, AI search trends, AEO practices, B2B SaaS marketing,
and event technology industry developments.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in content marketing, SEO content writing, SEO strategy, or
a similar role.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS content marketing.
- Experience creating content for blogs, websites, landing pages, emails, ads, social
media, and other digital platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, on-page SEO, search intent,
internal linking, content optimisation, and competitor analysis.
- Understanding of AEO, featured snippets, People Also Ask, voice search, AI search,
and answer-based content formats.
- Ability to create original, insightful, and research-backed content that is not generic
or overly dependent on AI tools.
- Ability to write for both humans and search engines while maintaining clarity, quality,
and brand voice.
- Experience analysing content performance and making data-backed
recommendations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush,
Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO/content tools.
- Excellent proofreading, editing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content projects
independently.
Good to Have
- Experience in the event technology industry.
- Experience writing for B2B SaaS, event management, virtual events, hybrid events,
marketing technology, or enterprise software audiences.
- Knowledge of technical SEO basics such as crawlability, indexing, schema markup,
page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, or similar
platforms.
- Experience creating thought leadership content, case studies, whitepapers, reports,
or long-form guides.
