About the role
We’re looking for someone very passionate about SEO. SEO, and hence this role, is critical to the success of the demand generation team, and the marketing team within DevRev. The person in this role will play a pivotal role in driving SEO initiatives and strategies for DevRev. The primary goal for this position is to maximize organic search traffic for the website by improving the SERP rank of relevant keywords. We’ve been focused on growing our team with those who love SaaS, AI, customer centricity, growth and revenue marketing, and particularly in this case, someone who absolutely loves everything SEO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute DevRev’s SEO strategy and build and manage roadmaps to drive sustainable organic growth.
- Instill the critical disciplines of regular keyword research, planning and structuring, content optimization and refresh, technical audits, internal linking and backlink development.
- Define and drive adoption of weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences to enable the team to stay on top of goals.
- Create meaningful reports in collaboration with the marketing operations team, to accurately measure the impact of SEO activities.
- Work closely with the content team to help define the content strategy and calendar for identified SEO opportunities.
- Work closely with the web development team to drive the implementation of technical SEO best practices, and maintain an ideal site architecture to maximize SEO benefits and organic traffic.
- Stay on top of SEO trends, algorithm updates and changes to the search landscape to drive innovations and implementation of effective SEO strategies.
- Manage stakeholder communication to keep teammates, managers and leaders informed of activities, progress and outcomes regularly and efficiently.
- Regularly monitor the conversion of traffic to leads and pipeline and gather insights to influence the SEO roadmap accordingly.
- Build a strong team of self-motivated SEO experts to help scale organic efforts sustainably.
Requirement
- Passionate about SEO and demand generation.
- 6-9 years of experience in website/web page SEO on Google Search is a must have.
- Prior experience in working in a B2B SaaS company is an added advantage.
- Experience in planning, implementing and reporting a revenue-led SEO strategy.
- Experience in working with a content team in an SEO capacity focused on creating and implementing content strategies.
- Very proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush and Hubspot.
- Hands-on experience in using Google Tag Manager to enable conversion tracking, site analytics and remarketing.
- Hands-on experience in building and managing reports on Google Data Studio.
- Good understanding of B2B marketing fundamentals to consistently identify opportunities to attract relevant organic traffic, and run experiments to improve conversion to leads and pipeline.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high-impact activities and manage complex projects.
- Ability to identify, onboard and manage content and backlink vendors efficiently.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
