The Team:
At Celonis, our ServiceNow Engineering team has been a key driver of internal transformation for over two years. Focused on improving the employee experience and optimizing internal operations, we’ve implemented and actively manage core ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HRSD, HAM, and Procurement. Our mission is to enable smart, efficient, and scalable solutions through automation, self-service, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Role:
We’re looking for a ServiceNow Engineer who is passionate about building, maintaining, and improving scalable solutions on the platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with our internal stakeholders to design and implement enhancements, support daily operations, and contribute to ongoing projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of modules and integrations while learning from senior engineers and contributing ideas that make a real impact.
This role combines hands-on configuration and development work with opportunities to influence best practices and improve platform performance
The work you’ll do:
- Configure, develop, and maintain features across ITSM, HRSD, HAM, Procurement, and other modules.
- Support day-to-day administration: user and group management, ACLs, catalog items, flows, and service portal components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues on the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed solutions.
- Assist in planning and executing small to mid-sized projects and enhancements.
- Maintain data integrity, automate processes, and ensure consistent application of platform standards.
- Participate in testing, QA, and release management processes.
- Work with integrations using REST, SOAP, or IntegrationHub.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and internal enablement.
- Continuously look for opportunities to optimize workflows and improve the employee experience.
The qualifications you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow as a Developer or Administrator.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification preferred.
- Experience with core modules such as ITSM, HRSD, or Asset Management.
- Solid understanding of scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and business rules.
- Familiarity with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, or IntegrationHub).
- Basic knowledge of system performance, ACLs, and platform security.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment.
