Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing robust automated test scripts to validate business and technical use cases.
- Maintaining, supporting and extending our existing automation framework and automation suite.
- Collaborating with Software Engineering Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, and others to ensure smooth integration of Quality Engineering solutions into the SDLC (Agile preferred)
- Participating in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Understand test data needs and coordinate with up/downstream apps to seed them. Use of virtualization as needed to shift left.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with globally distributed teams in an overlapped approach.
- Being proactive & driving tasks to closure sticking to the defined timelines.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Minimum of 1- 4 years of experience in Service-Now testing using mid-server, web services, chatops, email and other relevant technologies
- Experience and strong knowledge on Service Now implementation testing
- Hands-on experience in Service Catalog/Service Portal modules
- Experience with testing of the ServiceNow ITSM modules -Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM applications.
Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team - Extensive experience in automating functional, regression and other repeatable tests
- Exposure to test management tools such as ALM, Rally, Jira
