We are looking for a passionate and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our DevOps team at Qualys. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, availability, and reliability of our DevOps infrastructure across 100+ platforms. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and automating DevOps components that power our large-scale SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, upgrade, and optimize all DevOps components (CI/CD systems, configuration management, container platforms, etc.) across 100+ platforms.
- Design and implement automated solutions to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable and scalable environments.
- Monitor systems, set up alerts, and respond to incidents to ensure 24/7 uptime of critical services.
- Contribute to observability efforts—improving logging, metrics, and tracing across the infrastructure.
- Implement best practices in system hardening, patching, and security within the DevOps pipeline.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization of infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Shell, Python, or similar).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration systems.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Integrate and maintain observability tooling like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse,Appdynamics for monitoring, metrics, logging, and tracing.
Strong troubleshooting skills across application, OS, and network layers.
