About the Role:

CrowdStrike India is looking for an experienced accounting professional with hands-on experience in General Ledger, specifically in commissions accounting. This role will take on interesting and challenging responsibilities as our organization continues to grow in both size and complexity.

What You'll Do:

  • Calculate commissions capitalization/amortization and booking of necessary entries in ERP

  • Perform analysis on amortization to identify any potential adjustment or reason for MoM variance

  • Assist in tracking of installment payments

  • Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts to support recorded balances, track activity, and investigate differences, as needed

  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure that business transactions are appropriately accounted for

  • Participate in the monthly accounting close process and MoM variances based on trend

  • Preparation of accrual journals and reversal entries

  • Assist in statutory audit works of public listed companies

  • Involved in finalization of statutory audit of financial statements 

  • Assist in development and documentation of processes and procedures, monitoring of internal controls and identification of opportunities for efficiencies 

  • Ensuring global consistency in accounting process and practice where possible

  • Perform accounting processes in compliance with SOX

  • Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary

What You'll Need:

  • Chartered Accountant / MBA  with 7+ years of Accounting / General Ledger and Reporting experience

  • Shift Timing : 02pm – 11pm

  • Strong understanding of ERP (NetSuite experience is preferred)

  • Experience with a “Shared Resource Centre” will be a big plus

  • Critical thinking & ability to adapt to changes in the process month-over-month

  • Self-driven, taking ownership of process

  • Strong written & oral communication skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks at the same time

  • Able to review and analyze a process, recommend and implement improvements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
