As a Software Architect in the Embedded domain within our Space and Defense team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing software architectures for Linux-based embedded systems using C++ and C. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with developers, integrators, method experts, and customers to ensure software interface alignments and drive standardization.
Responsibilities- You will lead the software design and implementation phases, focusing on requirement analysis, coding, and testing for high-performance embedded systems.
- You will coordinate software interface alignments and drive standardization initiatives with developers, integrators, and customers to ensure seamless integration.
- You will manage configuration processes using Clearcase and Clearquest, ensuring robust version control and traceability.
- You will apply in-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls) to optimize software performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions while navigating the complexities of wireless protocols and RFNTP client/protocol
You have:
- Requires Bachelors / Masters in Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in Embedded domain in C/C++ and ARM environment.
- Experience in the design and development of Linux kernel solutions for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience in Linux Device Drivers enhancements and Board Support Packages (BSP) for various RISC processors.
Experience in drive kernel optimizations to enhance performance and reduce resource utilization in real-time applications.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Utilize scripting skills to automate processes and improve system efficiency within the embedded Linux environment.
- Engage with industry partners, including Qualcomm, to innovate and leverage cutting-edge technologies in telecommunications.
