As a Software Architect at iFrost, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical vision and architecture for our global digital platforms and solutions. You will ensure that our software systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with iFrost’s innovation-driven strategy. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that support iFrost’s global operations.
Reports To: Global Director, iFrost
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Define and document the architecture for iFrost’s software platforms, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
- Technology Leadership: Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools that align with iFrost’s strategic goals.
- Cloud & Integration: Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Microservices & APIs: Develop architecture for microservices-based systems and robust API frameworks to support global interoperability.
- Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for security, data privacy, and compliance with international standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with global development teams to guide implementation and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance iFrost’s digital ecosystem.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams across regions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field or equilivent.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Senior Developer in enterprise-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent understanding of API design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to work in a global, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML integration, data analytics platforms, and IoT solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
