The Associate Application Developer role is designed to be an entry level role into application development. The role will use basic experience and knowledge of different programming languages to create and maintain programs and applications. In this role and individual is expected to learn defined programming languages, methodologies and build up knowledge of assigned support areas. This includes the analysis of requirements and functional specifications to design, build, test, implement and support corrections and or enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on quality and scalability
Follow best practices to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, and QA teams
Debug and resolve application and system issues
Review code and support architectural and design enhancements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
0–1 year of hands‑on experience in Java application development
Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles
Experience working with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or equivalent technologies
Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
