Roles & Responsibilities: - A strong proficiency in Python is essential, as the application's backend is developed with this language. You will also design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance. - Key duties include conducting database tuning, indexing, and query optimization, as well as overseeing data migration, backup, and recovery processes. Additionally, you will refactor and enhance existing codebases for better performance and scalability, integrate and manage third-party APIs and services, and lead the full lifecycle of features from requirements gathering to production deployment. - Monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure for security and compliance will be crucial, along with providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and conducting code reviews to enforce best practices and coding standards.
