Summary: An Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Technical Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the CC&B application to meet utility business requirements. This role involves customizing the software, ensuring seamless integrations with other systems, and providing ongoing technical support Roles & Responsibilities: -Customize CC&B components such as Batch Processes, Algorithms, UI Maps, Service Scripts, Business Objects, and Business Services to align with business needs. -Design and implement custom solutions within the CC&B platform using Java, SQL, and PL/SQL. -Develop and configure application extensions according to technical design specifications. -Ensure successful integrations between CC&B and other systems, including utility websites, Meter Data -Management (MDM), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), and payment channels. -Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CC&B issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems -Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and technical specifications. Professional & Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of CC&B architecture, configurations, and modules such as Billing, Payments, Credit & Collection, and Financials. - Utilize Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) for configuring - Strong experience in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and CC&B Application Development Frameworks. - Familiarity with CC&B integrations using XAI, XSLT, and XPath -Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and related tools. -Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, and Ant Scripts, as well as experience with WebLogic Server and performance management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, including at least one full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power/Water/Sewer). - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience is required15 years full time education
