Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services
- Contribute to automation framework design and enhancements
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers during feature design and implementation
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and production defects
- Ensure adequate test coverage for new and existing features
- Participate in code reviews and quality discussions
- Identify edge cases and improve overall system reliability
Skills and Experience
- Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript
- Understanding of OOPS concepts and basic data structures
- Experience with at least one automation tools: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress (UI) and RestAssured / PyTest / Postman (API)
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI)
