In your new role, you’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.
You’ll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
You’ll also be:
- Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
- Working in permanent teams with responsibility for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
- Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
- Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
- Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations
You’ll need minimum nine years of experience in software design and implementation, with a proven ability to leverage modern programming languages to solve complex technical problems.
You’ll also need:
- Strong hands‑on experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript, building scalable, maintainable, and high‑quality applications
- Demonstrate capability in complex requirements analysis, capturing, validating, and translating business and system requirements into robust technical solutions
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely alongside business teams to design and deliver practical, value‑driven solutions aligned to business needs
- Solid experience applying information security policies and best practices, particularly within the financial services sector
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply to both technical and non‑technical audiences
