ABOUT THE ROLE
Teikametrics is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build and maintain integration services for e-commerce platforms, processing and analyzing seller data at scale. The role requires expertise in API integration and data processing, with a tech stack that includes Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS services. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a cloud-based environment, driving actionable insights for e-commerce business optimization.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Build and maintain scalable data processing services using Java/Spring Boot
- Integrate with external e-commerce platforms' APIs
- Design and implement data models and database schemas
- Work with message queues and event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
WHO YOU ARE
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience
- Experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with external API integration and data processing
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with message brokers, Kafka is a plus
- AWS experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
