Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in designing and implementing solutions related to data delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements related to data pipeline JIRA assigned.
- Understand business requirements, and execute data analysis to validate the achieve-ableness of it.
- Design and build data pipelines using FDC pipeline services.
- Ensure adherence to data governance principles, run validation, quality checks, and ensure pipeline completes all Fusion Data Tests.
- Complete production release activities required as a data engineer assignee to a JIRA.
- Work with Production Support and L3 Application Developers to troubleshoot real-time data issues.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Good experience in roles focused on data, such as data analyst, data scientist, or data engineer.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experiences working in AWS.
- Experiences with pipeline orchestrator such as Apache Airflow, Argo Workflow.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.
- Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries.
