As a Software Engineer II - VBA Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank Team, you'll execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. You'll be a part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

As a Software Engineer II - VBA Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank Team, you'll execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. You'll be a part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain applications to streamline and automate business processes, enhance productivity and improve data management using MS Office applications
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Proficiency in writing, debugging and optimizing VBA code
- Expertise in creating macros, custom menus/functions, pivot tables and advance data analysis tools
- Connecting with databases for data import/export, queries and reporting
- Experience with API's and data integration techniques
- Knowledge of VSTO and advanced Excel features such as Power Query, Power Pivot and advanced charting techniques
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Experience with other programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of financial modeling and reporting systems
- Familiarity with UI/UX design systems (Figma), Project Management tools (JIRA) and Agile methodology
