Software Engineer II

Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of software solutions using a variety of technologies. This role requires a solid understanding of software engineering principles. The candidate should be eager to expand their knowledge and skills in cloud-first technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using .Net Core, C#, and Python.

• Design and implement front-end solutions using React/Angular or Equivalent.

• Build and consume RESTful web services and APIs.

• Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ensure the quality of own work and contribute to the quality of the team's output.

• Demonstrated ability to write and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure high code coverage, contributing to the reliability and robustness of software applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of core software engineering experience.

• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB or Postgres.

• Experience with front-end development using React/Angular or Equivalent.

• Ability to work independently and rapidly prototype concepts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to use this understanding to accomplish work effectively.

Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships.

• Capable of explaining complex information in straightforward situations.
