Our Data Services team consists of collaborative, inclusive, and creative individuals. We develop data services with high reliability and massive scale on top of Akamai Platform.
Partner with the best
You will work at the heart of building data systems that are critical for Akamai Control Center. You will join other talented engineers in a cross-functional scrum team owning the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of high volume and velocity data pipelines that power Akamai's reports.
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Developing highly scalable and reliable managed data services and collaborating with others in the team.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD environments.
- Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Have hands-on experience of developing softwares in any of the object-oriented languages (C++, Java, Python etc) using test driven development.
- Have the ability to clearly communicate and have technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Have familiarity with networking protocols DNS, HTTP and understanding of TCP, UDP.
- Have attention to details and excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Have experience of working with any third-party-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) systems.
