As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platform P, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud architecture and AWS services.
- Develop Java backend services.
- Implement microservices architecture pattern.
- Design, develop, and manage scalable and secure cloud applications on AWS and private cloud (On-Premises).
- Be well-versed in microservices architecture pattern and its implementation.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure Java-based backend services and microservices.
- Develop and maintain a dynamic, responsive user interface using React.js and related technologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Code proficiently in Java and Spring framework.
- Implement AWS services and cloud solutions.
- Develop and deploy microservices in diverse environments.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines. - Integrate large-scale systems using Kafka.
- Apply clean code principles and agile methodologies.
- Estimate projects and challenge design requirements.
- Gain experience in system design and operational stability.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical disciplines like cloud and AI.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience leading technical teams and provide technical direction across product teams
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies
