As a Software Engineer III - Full Stack Adobe Experience Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank - Digital Platform Services - Content platform team, you will have a thorough understanding of content architecture and technologies. You will posses a broad range of technical experience such as content frameworks, UI development, server side development and performance analysis. The position will entail developing new applications and supporting existing applications for the global, client facing platforms. This role provides the unique and exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the full spectrum of the CIB's financial applications. You will primarily focus on the Content Platform applications. Job Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and implement AEM best practices for performance optimization and scalability.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support AEM functionalities. Ensure secure and efficient data handling between AEM and other systems.
- Create responsive and interactive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks. Optimize front-end performance for faster load times and better user experience.
- Utilize Foundation Granite UI components to build user-friendly and responsive interfaces within AEM.
- Leverage Coral UI components to create consistent and visually appealing user interfaces in AEM.
- Develop and integrate React-based SPAs within the AEM framework. Ensure smooth communication between AEM and React components for dynamic content rendering.
- Work closely with designers, content authors, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences, ensuring alignment with design guidelines.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to AEM components and integrations.
- Document the architecture, components, and styling conventions used in the project.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in AEM Full stack development, complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Solid understanding of all Adobe AEM building blocks, including templates, structure, components, sling/HTL, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the AEM development and deployment process.
- Experience in developing web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React JS, jQuery, LESS or SASS, Node, NPM, Webpack, TypeScript and experience in building cutting edge front-end technologies & responsive applications.
- Experience in JavaScript, ideally ES6 or ES7 and building/integrating Single Page Web Applications with AEM and u nderstanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement.
- Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) foundational concepts and core frameworks.
- Experience in Java Content Repository (API) suite, Apache Sling web framework and, Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows is required.
- Experience developing custom components in AEM and exposing AEM content as REST API.
- Strong Java, J2EE and web development (HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.) background with experience in building cutting edge web & responsive applications.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines and understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Business and technical analytical skills
- Experience with Content migration in AEM and well-versed with AEM workflows setup and maintenance as well as User and Group Management is a big plus.
- Experience working with author, publisher, and dispatcher configurations is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Target, Marketo and Adobe Analytics is a huge plus.
- Exposure to cloud technologies
